The vast majority of my work, including ongoing projects, studies, and advocacy efforts, is self-funded. The topics I cover have significant implications for thousands, if not millions, of people. My passion for this work drives me, and I am eager to continue making a difference. However, the expanding nature of these challenges has made it increasingly difficult for me to sustain this effort on my own.
Some of the projects I’m actively working on include:
- Climate change, fisheries, and ecosystems under anthropogenic and climate-related pressures
- Wetlands and people
- Biodiversity loss (mangrove deforestation, habitats loss, wildlife and changing habitats, etc.)
- Communities on the front lines of the climate crisis
- E-waste, plastic pollution, and fast fashion waste
- Hazardous child labour
- Urban marginality and the politics of informalities
- Urban Futures/Precarious urbanisms
- Snakebite envenoming as a neglected public health crisis
- Hazardous cookware source materials
These issues are far too important to overlook, and I refuse to turn a blind eye. I can only continue to do this with your help.
